Create To Advocate Competition

Are you the kind of person who believes everyone deserves a fair go? Do you want to do something meaningful with your creative talents? Go to school in the Federal Electorate of Deakin in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs? Then this is the competition for you!

We’re asking you to respond to the following question:

As Australians, how can our generosity impact the world’s most vulnerable communities? What does it mean to be a good international neighbour?

What can I make?

ARTISTS: Photography, drawing, digital art, poster,painting, sculpture.

WORDSMITHS: Essay, creative piece, poem, song lyrics, informative piece, opinion piece.

FILM BUFFS: (2-5 minutes long) Documentary, drama, song, short movie, comedy, animation.


What can I win?

Enter your creative work and go in the running to win! There’s up to $1000 worth of prizes up for grabs for you and your school!

1st PRIZE: $250 voucher for you & $250 voucher for your school

2ND PRIZE: $150 voucher for you & $150 voucher for your school

3RD PRIZE: $100 voucher for you & $100 voucher for your school

Will my work be displayed?

Finalists will be selected to have their work displayed in an exhibition and awards ceremony in June.  Date and venue TBC.
